Necessary Evils

Necessary Evils
I want to write something positive about this situation so that people can have some hope about my future: good often comes from evil. The destructive power of the atomic bomb at first struck fear into people's hearts. But we owe our avoidance of disastrous world wars to the invention of this diabolical weapon, for we fear any escalation of international disputes that would result in global annihilation. Ironically, we owe the comparative peace enjoyed by the generations that have followed World War Two to the unthinkable scenario of global thermonuclear war.

On the same note, the spiritually destructive power of copyright fraud with my internet posts has been proven and we have survived its first volley. As long as I can survive to bring my act to you in person over the next year or so, we will be able to head confidently into an age where any further use of such unconventional weapons will be as unthinkable as using nuclear weapons. This has been a long, arduous struggle of my truth against countless lies. My victory over these lies will be a victory for all humanity. It will reinforce our faith in our enlightened, democratic principles of truth and justice. Perhaps we needed to endure this terrible crime against truth to help us to appreciate truth and to teach us how much work is required to protect truth. Furthermore, some of my best works have arisen from being subjected to this horrible crime, such as my poem, The Servant, which may compare favorably to the poetry of one of my favorite bards, William Blake. It is a poem which I believe will enrich the lives of its readers for many years to come and it owes its creation to my worst misery.

However, while my greatest works may depend on such misery, my truth will depend on my success with my work, which ironically enough, may co-opt my creative urge somewhat by making me far more comfortable. Perhaps at some point in the future, I may be forced to disguise myself as a common person and return to the streets of Vancouver to draw more inspiration from this misery I so creatively express in the present.

Verse Discrimination

Verse Discrimination
I don't mind bashing this Heaven where the business has been sending frauds who steal my online posts because I don't think it's worth going to. Who wants to stand around and party with a bunch of snobs who think they're great just because they enjoy some social advantage? That would be boring. They have no real talent and there they are, cluttering up a place that is supposed to be reserved for talent. It looks more like a fishbowl of fools from where I'm standing. And what do these superstars have to say once you take all my words out of their mouth but look at me! I'm a star! YAWN! It makes me regret that I possess the talent to 'rise' to such an abysmal paradise. I think I would have been better off without my talent.

If you want to know the source of most of the hate you may see attacking my online posts, it is untalented, self appointed competitors. They lack the talent to draw my readers or listeners away with their own work, which they try to make up for by bashing my work. I would trace their lack of talent to a lack of humanity. Their motives are entirely selfish and tells in their own feeble attempts at authoring. Up until the internet came along, their jobs might have been safe. But now they want to stay in business by trampling new talent on the internet. I am more than strong enough to tolerate their abuse and I will survive to rise high above them and their pretentious Heaven.

The hateful are attracted to my work simply because they need my love, which they are unable to find in their own hearts or from those others like themselves who make up their circles. The source of their racism is probably a deficiency of some kind, whereas I can be proud of being an artist. Since my childhood I have been admired for my talent. And there was another boy in my class who had outstanding artistic talent. And guess what, racists, he was black! And we were friends because we shared our special gift from God! You see, I don't need to be proud of anything superficial like the color of my skin because I can be proud of my talent.

I must wonder about these show business people who draw their pay from spending all day online, telling lies about me. This is an extremely destructive enterprise and would not look very good on a resume. I will have no use for such people, myself, so maybe they should start training for another career before it's too late.

Lastly, it seems that some people out there are desperate for me to take credit for a 'verse' that I don't know about. Are we sure it's my verse? Is it beautiful? Does it agree with everything I've shared in the last three thousand pages? Who wants to credit me for it? The same ones who denied me credit for thousands of other works? Please carefully analyze this information before passing judgement on me.

I'm confident that I will come out on top in this struggle because I am dynamic. Notice how this last fool got stuck with old songs that have less appeal than the songs I'm sharing now: Redundant, Insidious, Denial, and Epitomes, for instance, which are extremely well written and capable of bringing rock firmly into the twenty-first century. Please keep an eye on these music posts, which should only appear exclusively in my account. In 2007, I simply stopped adding to my music, which gave the criminals a static, easy target to exploit. But now by adding daily content, I fluctuate too much for them to pin me down with any more of their childish fraud. I will continue adding to my repertoire to the end of my life. And the stars who tried to suppress my popularity with their wicked fraud await my onstage debut with sheer panic and would surely welcome any fool who would try to follow in the footsteps of their precious Crystalids with my songs.

Lessons in Humility

Lessons in Humility
Considering the status of my lawbreaking detractors as industry stars and workers, I feel rather foolish for telling you earlier this year that crimes with my work have no industry support. And now I hear that my song Rules was also recently illegally recorded and performed behind my back. Rules is a song that would win people's hearts because I wrote it in 2012 for former Crystalids fans, in the spirit of conciliation, to offer them hope about our future together. It's a song about hope and truth and human weakness and love; a very warm, decent song. And I wrote it because I wanted my fans to have something new and original that we could share after four hours of the music I already struggled to write and record for them were ruined by the nasty crime of music fraud. Now I guess I feel a little different about it. And so do my music fans, I'm sure.

So this character's name was David, right? David Duke? Who does the industry have lined up for 2017 to present as the owner of the songs I'm sharing now? David Karesh? I bet this guy was popular on FOX News. Did they tell everyone that he was my spirit? And now I know why I've been having such a hard time with my music: because 'I look like a Jew'. It's a good thing your broadcasters elevate people with this kind of important information to a place in the clouds where they can shout it down to me as I limp home from the library every day, otherwise I'd be getting my hopes up.

How long has this crime against my work been going on now? I think it started with that play I wrote in 1999, didn't it? Sixteen years. And if I manage to win a crowd with my music fans, will I be able to keep performing until I'm sixty-six? Oh boy. Hope I don't get arthritis.

All this crime with my work has taught me some humiliating lessons about myself: I'm smelly, I'm unattractive, I'm pathetic, I'm a bum, and perhaps most important of all, I'm insignificant. And I suffer from all these defects because I'm not on TV. It's a good thing I pray to a God who submitted to the puny authority of Earthly power and allowed himself to be stripped naked and pinned to a cross or I would have very little motivation to go on living. I wonder if it's the same God worshiped by all the Christians who played a role in this latest crime against my life and my heart.

Footnote: 2:14pm:

I was passing by the MacDonald's on Pender and Hastings at around 1:00pm earlier today when I heard a woman shout: Go back to Nirvana, you prostitute! This is the second time I've heard this in the last couple of months. The first time, I dismissed it, thinking it must have been intended for someone else. So now I must offer some kind of response to it, since it was shouted very loudly and heard by a number of bystanders.

Let's start with the source of the remark. Do you all think it was this poor unfortunate street person? I don't. I would see her as a helpless pawn in the grip of one or more of the evil stars I've been prosecuting in this account. Now, why Nirvana? Is it because I want to move to Seattle? Is that the only rock star these people think came from Seattle? What about Jimi Hendrix? Is he not Aryan enough for their consideration? He's one of my all time favorite authors and performers. Or was this a reference to Buddhism? I thought I made it clear that I'm a Christian. And as for being a prostitute, don't prostitutes get paid money for their services? How did they confuse a rape victim like me with a prostitute? Why don't these evil stars tear themselves away from watching themselves on the TV for a few minutes to read my poem, The Servant? It will teach them what I think of their Heaven. Notice how I've dedicated it to my mother, whose email I've not been able to respond to in over a week because I'm so entangled in this struggle against their absurd hate that I keep forgetting about her while I'm here. She's quite old and worried sick about me. I hope she's still alive to receive my response.

TV viewers, in spite of the Satanic crimes of your television networks, the following poem is not a work of humor.

The Servant (Copyright 2007, 2015. David Skerkowski.)

The servant considered it a winning trade
To submit to her master's ridiculous pride
In exchange for her share of the fortune he made
And for having the loftiest place to reside

His great hall resounded with glorious mirth
As the highest nobility gathered to play
From their perch they could look down upon the whole Earth
And be sure that below them is where it would stay

Amid sights that would dazzle and sounds that would please
Her misgivings extinguished as soon as they rose
And her chores were completed with relative ease
To the common array of laborious woes

Though among the cloud dwellers her position was low
Over most other people she felt she'd been raised
For the clouds were as high as a person could go
And the master who's great has a servant who's praised

After cleaning and straightening up for the day
To her quarters she went for a well deserved rest
And as usual gave up a moment to pray
When to her surprise at her side stood a guest

He was far more impressive in appearance to those
Who had come to cavort and to gloat at the view
But to call himself 'servant' he happily chose
As he held her hand tight and away they both flew

Past the moon and the planets, at the speed of a thought
They traveled through space as in wonder she stared
Until even the sun had become a mere dot
And with vast constellations the heavens they shared

Then they came to a gate which to them gave way
And at once they were bathed in a rapturous glow
Of a brilliant kingdom whose finest house lay
Where her able companion and she were to go

Its floor was a weave that was kind to the feet
Its walls were adorned in colors that danced
At a bountiful table she took a plush seat
And her inquiry of this promotion she chanced

The other sat too and he picked up a lyre
To expertly strum as he spoke his reply:
'To see and to know of the places much higher
Than that stoop so constrained by the Earth's tiny sky

'The self-centered fool sees his place at the top
As for any and all the ultimate peak
From whence further advancement must pointlessly stop
And base hedonism alone were to seek

'On the shallow perception of others below
His flimsy position completely depends
But without the heart to independent gain know
Where his triumph begins it just as soon ends

'As his servant you toiled, content in your place
From the loftiest perch did you still think to pray
Reaching up to the stars for divinity's grace
With a soul so inclined may it visit and stay

'But behold your proud master, once loved and admired
Unassailable but from the law's mighty arm
His presumptuous reign has this moment expired
And his legacy won't be of beauty but harm

'Against one's own fellows gain is not absolute
But with God to oneself is it truly secure
And the stem of your master had down at its root
The life of another who he left sad and poor!'

In a blink she returned to her former abode
Which she had the full run of, her betters now gone
But its charm was so spoiled by what her servant showed
That she packed her belongings and elsewhere moved on

Depending Doom

Depending Doom
Oh, flag me! Look how my post stays online with a red flag, everyone! Who flagged me this time? That disgusting, plagiarizing creep who went on TV to talk about my theories as though they were his? Yeah, the subconscious mind is so amazing, right? Every number in the phone book... Is he in prison now? Why don't they interview him in there? Is his interviewer in prison, too? Gee, I better stop or I might get flagged. And stay online afterwards! Ha!

While these feeble efforts by weak criminals to erase my blog with false flags may momentarily amuse me, when you're up alone against a gang like this, it can make your life almost unbearable. They are wealthy and popular and you are not wealthy and comparatively isolated. Everyone trusts them and no one trusts you. And if you manage to get them thrown in jail or prison, their fans resent you for 'insulting a star'.

And the reason you are poor is because the vast amounts of time needed to generate the works that were stolen from you allow little room for any other activity. You starve to produce the work that these rich people steal. They then take the popularity they gain from it to make you unpopular and spend the money they make from it on suppressing you in poverty. The fame you get from authoring popular works becomes a constant invasion of your peace and privacy, even interfering with silent prayers which are intended to be strictly between you and God. And the justice system fails to put a permanent stop to your suffering, letting it go on and on, year after year. The offenders want to call taking money out of your pockets by stealing your work 'gainful'. Is this the kind of economic success for which the internet was established?

So how have I been able to withstand this unbearable state for so many years? This is where I think my theory of subconscious time traveling may prove to have some credibility. I believe that our behavior is guided by subconscious forces which are far more informed than our conscious minds. I believe that my subconscious mind leaped forward to my future at some earlier point in my life and compared the different outcomes that would arise from the different choices I could make, in order to find the very best possible outcome for me and to guide my behavior on a path towards it. Focused on this final outcome, it overlooked the misery that would be brought on by the choices that lead up to it, leaving me to suffer in the present.

Of course, this is only a very interesting theory. If it's true, it means that your daily struggle is worthwhile. It means that the more hopeless your condition might be, the more likely it is to bring you what you want. True or not, at least it keeps me struggling towards my goals.

Before I continue with the flip side of this argument, who said that they didn't know I was 'mental'? Must I direct my readers, once again, to my earlier post As Jung as I Feel to show them how my theory harmonizes with the work of the renowned researcher, Karl Jung? Must I point out that my posts have not changed since they were stolen by the television and hailed as works of genius? Must I add that I am not 'on meds'? I'm not 'on meds'. I am in the same frame of mind I was in before the TV started its wholesale fraud with thousands of my posts, leaving me to rant about it by myself as though I were schizophrenic. I'm not schizophrenic. I'm a person of superior ability, which for the moment, can only be accommodated by a social program intended for persons with disabilities. But go ahead and hate the disabled, just like Hitler did, if you're one of these critics, because time is running out on you for that option. When I start my tour, I'll have to leave the province and I won't be classified as a 'mental' person anymore. Maybe then I won't experience so much of the nasty hate that such people direct towards the disabled.

Also, I would like the abuse of my song Hot to stop please. Those Nasco creeps have already spoiled it for me so much that I doubt I will be performing it and I think that's enough pain to inflict on me for writing and sharing it.

Now for the flip side of my theory, concerning the conscious mind and its conflict with the subconscious will. The subconscious focuses on outcomes, while the conscious mind is imprisoned, or dare I say, blinded by present conditions. But this is significant: the conscious mind has veto power over the subconscious will. When we defer a difficult struggle in favor of securing comforts in our immediate world, for instance, we quite often override our subconscious will. While such a decision offers physical comforts, it often leaves us feeling insecure and unfulfilled. People ought to be proud of accomplishing simple goals like having a good job or raising a family, but the same people seem to be troubled when a person who has taken a radically different life path appears to have achieved something greater. Suddenly their 'good sense' no longer seems as gratifying.

The decision by frauds to steal my work was entirely conscious. They are utterly absorbed by their waking world and it has utterly cheated them out of much greater possibilities for themselves. The decision to commit suicide is also entirely conscious. I am an artist who draws heavily upon his subconscious for his most creative expressions, which may give me some advantage in my decision making process, though I must still endure the present before I can prove this. Perhaps 'normal' people, less in touch with their subconscious will, are thereby 'disabled' from achieving great things.

My decision to erase my work in 2007 was a conscious one. I was yielding to overwhelming pressure in my waking world brought on by the crimes being committed against me by broadcasters at that time, crimes that I'm sure George W. Bush knew about and ignored because, in his own words, if I wasn't with him, I was with the terrorists. Had I stayed online, I probably would have achieved my success by 2010 and enjoyed the five best years of my life since then, instead of looking back on the five bleakest. I've no intention of repeating that mistake.

In order to cover all the bases with this theory, I should explain how victims of murder or brutality fit into this scheme. Here is where I must assume that the subconscious mind may be capable of seeing beyond the grave to a better life in the next world. In support of this, I've noticed that children seem to have an intuitive faith in God, which often slips away from them as they 'mature' and grow into adults, switching their focus from the inner world of imagination to the outer world of shopping centers. Indeed, such was the case with me as I approached my teens and began to question the illogical aspects of my faith. I thought that perhaps my faith in God was no different than my faith in Santa Claus and that I might have outgrown it. I know better now, and as sophisticated as I may appear, I realize that I am no less of a child in my heart today than I was in my childhood.

Give Me Strength

Give Me Strength
Known violators of my copyrights and/or image so far include: Nickelback, Beyonce, The Crystalids, Taylor Swift, The Rolling Stones, Oasis, The Shards, Coldplay, Madonna, Leonard Cohen, Bill Maher, George Carlin, Jay Leno, Ellen Degeneres, Jimmy Kimmel, Conan O'Brien, Saturday Night Live (Mike Myers, Tina Fey, etc.), The Simpsons, Family Guy (Seth MacFarlane), Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert (inadvertently), Dateline NBC, FOX News, CBC's David Frum, CBC's George Strombolpoulos, George W. Bush, Jonathan Torrens, Clint Eastwood, and Gene Hackman.

Gee, do you think maybe every star on TV and the radio was in on this crime? It sure has been a drag for me to have more talent than the TV and the radio. While I prefer to walk down the street in peace, unmolested by strangers, it sure sucks to have some criminal like Taylor Swift cruising by me in her limousine, pointing to me and saying 'where's the crowd?' Yeah, the crowd's all gathering to watch you rip me off, Taylor. They like you better than me because 'you know how to make money'. They don't think I'm special. And who's been prancing around with Special? Are you still using it so that your workers can laugh and say you fry my dick? Or is someone else pretending that they wrote it so their workers can laugh and say that he fries my dick? Who's been playing Hot and who's been playing Ugly? And how long has it been going on behind my back this year?

Readers, this is supposed to make me look weak, right? Doesn't it make our justice look weak? As a victim, it takes superhuman strength for me to come here and face down so many enemies by myself - enemies that include people who are supposed to broadcast the news about stars who commit fraud and go to prison, so that victims like myself suffer no further stress from the crime. TV viewers see no evidence of hate from their TV's. Is Ellen still on TV? Here's a TV star I've been rightly accusing of stealing my blogs for the last eight years, who has been drawing my readers to her show and calling me 'Dodgy Dave', and they see no evidence of hate. Then her viewers are compelled to gather to watch Taylor Swift steal my songs on Canada Day and they still see no evidence of hate.

Who was the gang responsible for this last round of violations against my music? Oh, Nasco workers! You mean people who work for that staffing company that stole four hours of my three minute songs are the ones responsible for this last round of copyright violations? And that makes me weak, right? And did you punish the offender? Did you sign his dick? That's not what the offender's helpers tell everyone on the web at 2:00 in the morning. They tell everyone that he signed my dick. And that makes me weak, right?

What is the sentence for committing so much fraud year after year? Shouldn't these offenders still be rotting prison cells from what they were caught doing in 2010? No, I hear they're out and that the police have to wait until they're caught before they can take action against them. What action? I'm sure we'll find out when the police are waiting for them to get caught again next year. And that makes me weak, right?

My two new songs are doing well. Who else has them? Why did I hear that I 'moved a hit' a few days ago? I didn't move anything. I keep all my work together in this one account. And who is behind this violation? The same young offender who has already stolen dozens of my new songs since 2012? And that makes me weak, right?

Why was I taking verbal abuse from Nasco workers on the way home from the library last night? They had a big dog with them. I bet they were trying to taunt me into an act of violence so they could say their unmuzzled dog chewed me up in self defense. What are these criminal assholes doing on the sidewalk, getting in my face? I only need that small stretch of sidewalk between my home and this library. They clearly have claimed the whole remainder of the city for themselves and their fraud. And that makes me weak, right?

Why is a video online of my head with a penis going in and out of my mouth? Isn't that a very serious image violation? It must be because I'm so weak, not because our justice is weak.

You know what these criminal assholes call their crime, police? They call it Heaven. So that's the Heaven the TV supports, is it? I pity its viewers when they come to the end of their time on this evil planet.

I've not encountered such selfish people in all my life since I came into contact with the ones who are charged with the selfless job of giving their hearts to the world on the radio and TV. Seems to me that they are obsessed with 'having power' and 'being serviced' and that they would kill their mothers for such privileges. And when they are broadcast on the music station with my songs, people love them and call them 'Jesus', leaving me to get called other much less flattering names. I will face more of their hateful abuse today and tomorrow and perhaps all the way until I must leave this city I've lived in for twenty years. And it seems ridiculous to me that, if I am ever asked why I 'made it' in the future, I will have to answer with the words, 'because they couldn't kill me by my own hand'.

Poor Man, Rich Man

Poor Man, Rich Man
I was a little afraid to turn out my lights last night, but I fell asleep peacefully and had no weird dreams. By the way, was my old 90's ballad Together Again illegally playing on the country station at any point? If so, we must prosecute the person who stole it. I think it's important to show the world that this fraud was not genre specific and that it was a crime against music, not a crime of rock. Rock is a musical genre, not a criminal. And what about Beyonce's theft of my Under My Umbrella, which crosses over to the mainstream pop realm? And what about the television's theft of my thousands of scripts and statements? Let's let's be careful to distinguish the crime of fraud from its wounded targets. You may start by rejecting tasteless comedians who want to bash rock.

I spoke yesterday of a very real phenomenon that may currently affect some industry people who got mixed up on the wrong side of the crimes against my work and image. I said that the joy my songs bring into the hearts of my listeners causes distress to those who opposed me. If these industry people were simply duped into thinking I was a fraud, they have nothing to fear from me. Actually, I don't want to hurt anyone. I've been forced into a defensive posture by the aggressive attacks of so many online assassins. I'm sure that if these industry people simply 'bite the bullet' and sustain this sense of panic for the moment, they will eventually overcome it and be capable of joining my celebration. As far as I know, most of the culpable industry staff have been neutralized over the last couple of years.

Someone said that I was rich today as I overtook him on the sidewalk. I am? I must be one of those rich people who needs soup lines and a public pension. I used to be upset about this, but I'm feeling better now that I'm learning how to control my money. Once I have saved enough to finance a little musical tour, I will have begun my career on a very solid, independent footing, rather than building my future out of the proceeds of lawsuits, which would be a bit like building my greatness out of other people's crimes with my work. I would have had to start out with my own resources in 2007 and I want my work to have as much integrity as possible, in spite of all the filthy crimes that have been committed with it. Besides that, I still have much work to do: authoring new songs, drawing posters, practicing, etc.

Don't let anyone pin me down in the present. The present does not really exist because it constantly changes. To gain a real picture of where I stand, compare my position in early 2010 to where I am now. From that, you may project even more impressive progress in the years to come. And my isolation is consistent with one who is training for a life of standing in front of crowds, rather than one of burying himself within a crowd.

Together Against

Together Against
I heard a lot of commotion last night that could only have been caused by another online violation of my work and/or image. I gather that someone who has recently been forced off the internet for contradicting me was restored online last night between the hours of 12:00 am and 4:00 am. I heard about how someone 'has to read my blogs' and I think it's ridiculous. Punishing violators of my copyrights with my blogs is like punishing a rapist with sex. If this is true, I think that whomever is responsible belongs in a cage with these offenders. All these creeps ever do with the information I share is to immediately use it against me. Yesterday, for instance, I said that I belong in 'the light'. Apparently, they took this to mean that the hours of 12:00 to 4:00 am were open for more of their crimes.

Here were the results of posting a lying blog that had already been flagged down:

I'm the one who was erased! Of course, I wasn't able to trot down to the library to check this.

I'm the prick they threw in prison! If that were true, I wouldn't need anyone else to tell me.

My accounts of sex crimes against me and of punishments of offenders is smutty! Perhaps, but they are also true to the best of my knowledge. Frankly, I would rather be rightly accused of copulating in front of a worker or having sex with groupies, as I have accused these offenders, than to be falsely accused of raping an eight year old girl, as they accused me. And in ten years I've not heard so much as a word of warning from the police about any of my thousands of online statements. For more of my side on this issue, please read my earlier post to this blog, My Filthy Truth.

She wrote my laughs! Has anyone out there ever heard of a musician who made it big by writing 'laughs'? Apparently all those copyright violating TV stars think a sense of humor is the most important element in a song. I wish these pests would stick to unsuccessfully flagging down my posts and shut up.

I'm the victim of my own [pardon me] cock! Why don't you tell that to those cancelled TV shows, incarcerated stars, and unemployed broadcasting staff? I wouldn't need to use my 'cock', as they so rudely call it, if they didn't commit so many crimes against my work and my image.

By the dawn, I gather that these offenders scurried offline like cockroaches in the light. I bet they think they were being fair. Well, you readers out there should take note of the times of day that I post and question anything around my blog that goes online outside of my normal schedule. Just one more thing to look out for. I've only posted one nocturnal thing in the last few years, my recording of Therapy, a song that was praised as art when it played as music fraud on the commercial radio and which now appears to be shunned for being back in the hands of its rightful owner.

I awoke at 4:00 am from a strange dream. I was walking through a strange, affluent neighborhood, eating strips of fried bacon with my fingers, on my way to the welfare office. When I got inside, I animated my stride with a comical gesture that another client found offensive. I told him to take note of his humble position and 'loosen up'. Next thing I knew, I was at home, in a strange house, listening to - of all things - the country radio station play the opening chords of an old ballad of mine from 1991 called Together Again on the steel guitar. It's the same kind of warm, gentle acoustic song that the industry let Beyonce use to advance her career by ruining mine, but I suppose it would make a good country song. I still recall the words:

How long can it last?
Why won't it go away?
This empty feeling
Can't take another day
Lying alone, wishing we only could be
Together again

Little did I know
Before you turned away
I'd be so lost without you
And now I have to pay
lying alone, wishing we only could be
Together again

Do you miss me like I miss you?
Do you think of me very often?
I've had some good times, some very good times
But with you I had the best times

How long must I wait?
How long must I pretend
I'm doing fine without you
When I can't really stand
Lying alone, wishing we only could be
Together again

Did I mistreat you in some way?
Did I take you too much for granted?
Well if I hurt you, I'm very sorry
But I thought we would last forever

No more carefree days
No more summertime
And while you've got your freedom
I will be doing time
Lying alone, wishing we only could be
Together again
