Funny how everyone turns to the selfish networks to help them celebrate the season of giving. Look at all the beautiful songs and stories they stole from a half starved author and now they want everyone to think he's lying about it. What would I gain from lying about this? Why would I want to disturb rock fans and comedy fans with this terrible news about their idols? Why would I need to add thirty more posts to my account at George Carlin's expense? Didn't I already have enough? I'm not even a comedian. And why would I lie about the misdeeds of a dead star? Do you think I'd want his ghost haunting my already uncomfortable room? What would I gain from lying about this to millions of strangers? Would I expect them to love me and respect me when I tell them their favorite stars are dishonest and owe me money? Do they let people go online and accuse stars of fraud and report their incarcerations? Are they 'letting' me reclaim hours of my music and whole seasons of my writing from their former broadcast schedule? Are they 'letting' me name specific names of the offenders in this crime? Are they 'letting' me publicly align myself with police and lawyers as a major crime victim? Don't let the networks make a fool out of you. They owe me a pile of money and they want to pretend that they have the Christmas spirit. The only Christmas gift they deserve is for their worst nightmares to come true. |
